Nissan will unwrap a new small crossover, the 2008 Rogue, at next week's Detroit auto show, less than a year before its sales debut.
The sporty vehicle arrives in showrooms this fall. It will fit into Nissan's expanding light-truck lineup below the Murano crossover.
The front-wheel-drive newcomer will be powered by the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine shared with the Altima.
The Rogue shares the redesigned Sentra's platform.
