Indonesian Poso explosion casualty increased

JAKARTA, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- The number of people killed atSaturday's bomb explosion near a police station at Poso of CentralSulawesi province increased to five, police said.

They said the cause of the blast in Poso, 1,500 kilometersnortheast of the capital Jakarta, was still not clear, according tolocal internet here Sunday.

Except the five deaths, some others were injured during the blast,a local police officer said.

The explosion took place in front of a market, only some 100meters away from the Poso police station.

The sectarian clashes between Muslims and Christians have occurredin the city and region in years where more than 2,000 have died.
